1. Overview

Contexa Hub ("we", "us", "our") operates AI-powered document extraction APIs. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle data when you use our Service.

2. Data We Do Not Collect

We do not store your documents. Any files, images, or PDFs you submit for processing are handled entirely in memory and are never written to disk, stored in a database, or retained after the API response is returned.

We do not collect or store:

  • Uploaded documents, images, or PDFs
  • Extracted text, tables, or structured data from your documents
  • Base64-encoded file contents
  • URLs to your documents (beyond the duration of the request)

3. Data We Do Collect

We collect minimal operational metadata:

  • Job metadata: Job ID, status (success/failure), processing time, document type, timestamps. This does not include document contents or extraction results.
  • Account data: If you create a dashboard account — email address, name, and authentication tokens.
  • RapidAPI user identifiers: The RapidAPI username associated with API requests, for rate limiting and usage tracking.
  • Server logs: Standard web server logs including IP addresses, request timestamps, and HTTP status codes. These are retained for up to 30 days.

4. Third-Party AI Providers

To process your documents, we send your input data to third-party AI providers:

These providers process your data to generate extraction results. We use their API services, which means your data is sent to their servers for processing. We recommend reviewing their privacy policies if you have concerns about how they handle data.

Both providers' API terms state that API inputs are not used to train their models.

5. How We Use Data

Operational metadata is used to:

  • Monitor service health and performance
  • Enforce rate limits and usage quotas
  • Debug errors and improve the Service
  • Generate aggregate, anonymized usage statistics

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties, except:

  • With the AI providers listed above, as necessary to process your requests
  • When required by law or legal process
  • To protect our rights, property, or safety

7. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), secure authentication, and access controls. However, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Data Retention

  • Document data: Not retained — discarded immediately after processing
  • Job metadata: Retained for up to 90 days
  • Account data: Retained while your account is active
  • Server logs: Retained for up to 30 days

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Request deletion of your account and associated metadata
  • Request a copy of your stored data
  • Withdraw consent and stop using the Service at any time
